Abigail has adopted a little Callie!
The stupid Jetta was a pain from the moment I bought it, and I poured money into repairs for it almost every other week. I paid my sister for it slowly, month by month, but the car didn’t last half as long as it was taking me to buy it. I bought another car in 2005 and have been making two car payments ever since.
My grandmother volunteered the money to pay off the Jetta, as a way to help out both me and my sister. I needed the money for other things as the time, but figure it would quickly be replaced by the unemployment checks I was going to get. Slowly it disappeared, and unemployment wasn’t showing up. I felt horribly guilty about it, and worried that the unemployment would never be paid, and I’d be stuck lying to both my sister and my grandmother.
BUT last night the unemployment money finally arrived, with more than enough to do the trick! I’m thrilled, and mailing a check TODAY.
