I like hard copies, so I have a massive massive toppling over pile (sigh times two) that needs to be indexed and filed away because I can and will make use of them again.

I don’t know why I feel a need to keep some of the crap that I keep but yes, I want to get it filed away.

I have had an allergy – sinus throbbing headache all day so I just went ahead and e-filed for the first time. I decided that the money for filing was worth the time I was not printing & folding & weighing, stamping & mailing.
Now I am off to bed, just as soon as I check my forehead for wounds to make sure this is a headache & not a gun shot that exploded the entire front part of my brain.

Daddy’s desktop needs a new power supply. I needed the Boy to figure out WHAT. I pinned him down & have ordered the new one. Next up – getting him to install it when it gets here! We have several ailing computers that are on my NUTS list.

I had a slew of appointments to make, hair, doctor, dentist. Also a call to the post office tracking a package from Toad to me for Yule that is presently mia.
I have a mop reduction to hair style on Saturday; a physical and dental exams for both myself & the Boy in January. The post office is tracking my package. I suspect it is in the locked parcel box and the post man forgot to give me the key. However, procedures must be followed and I did as told. I called 1-800, versus just getting a hold of the local post office.
When I got home today, an envelope of a Christmas card had been scrawled on, “you got parcels in 219, you got the key?” sigh Well no, I do not! If I had I might have had my present last week before Yule!!! Apparently the local post office makes me jump through hoops while their delivery people scrawl messages on my mail. I hope they realize my present is late due to their stupidity!!! And a 43t card was defaced by the post office. I thought they had rules about this stuff!!!!
Anywho i got a bunch of things scheduled!

I am posting this twice! I finally went to the passport office filled out the paperwork, had a fairly bad picture taken & I am OFFICIALLY submitted! I should have passport in around a month.
This knocks one big NUT off my list!

Today I had hopes of cracking a few more NUTS. Instead I spent day dealing with my Daddy’s subscription to Consumer Reports & my mother’s dead food disposal unit.
I researched disposals & in the end we called the local appliance people & said INSTALL ASAP!!! Tomorrow I will be supervising that, so I doubt I get much more done! I guess I can be glad that I didn’t let these two items become NUTS. But after several long distance calls & an hour on the net getting Daddy’s subscription transferred – I was not to happy to learn that the last time they reviewed garbage disposals was 1994!!!! But it is done now & the next time we have a crisis – I KNOW I can research it faster!

The laptop is fixed that is a huge relief! My repair person (aka daughter) spent about an hour removing the old screen & replacing it tonight.
This morning I went out to storage unit where things from the lake cabin were put when we closed it & retrieved the air popper popcorn maker.
I started a new address list on google as I keep losing mine when computers die. Now I have it hopefully forever! I only entered about 20 addresses, so far, but they are the most important people.
I ordered some new “long johns” as my old ones are really old & starting to be a bit wrecked. I put them on the to do list last Spring, but it is easy to ignore things when they are seasonally unnecessary. I believe that I will need them soon, tho!
