And I bought some postcards. Tell me if you want one. :)
It was fun! I went on the top of the tower of the Oympic Stadium. It’s the highest leaning tower in the world. :)
Then we went on Mont-Royal, and on the Notre-Dame and St-Hélène islands. On the Ste-Hélène island, there’s the Gilles-Villeneuve circuit, which is used for Formula 1. And I realized that I could drive on the track! So I made a lap with my Mazda6 and I was seriously giggling non-stop!!! :D
The next day, we went to walk in the city center and then, on the way home, we stopped at a very cool place where there are monster trucks and dinosaurs. We took a lot of pictures… lol!
For now I’m really tired and I feel like I can’t write. Especially in English. :P So I’m keeping it simple but I might tell a bit more later.
PS: One good reason to miss Emilia: I did bring my camera, but I forgot it in the car all the time, except at the Olympic Stadium and at the Madrid hotel. I never think about taking pictures…

I’ll be spending a couple of days there with Isabelle and Sarah. I should be back either Monday night or Tuesday morning.
Does anyone need anything from there?
Postcards?

And I don’t even think I really want to rest. :)
Tomorrow I’m heading to Tadoussac with two friends, and we’re gonna go see the whales.
In two weeks, me and the same friends will have a two days trip to Montreal. One of my friends has never seen the Olympic Stadium!!!
And I am more and more tempted by California, next Spring.
And I still have plans for New Zealand. The problem is: I checked the plane tickets, and it’s SO expensive!!!!!
Other plans for the next few years: Scotland, Ireland, France, the Netherlands… and I have to go back to Finland at some point, because Finland is the most amazing country ever, with the kindest people ever. I miss my little sister and Tampere too. It really does feel like my second home now.

went to San Diego in June… I always get depressed when I have to come back home. It’s not that I’m unhappy with life. It’s just that I never feel at home like I do when I’m traveling, exploring, and especially when I’m at the Ocean.

Okay so here’s the thing. I’ve been to Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Spain, and Paris. The issue is that I still want to go to Italy and Mexico. I also want to hit Hawaii and some tropical island like Bahamas or something. This will probably always be a goal…who knows!

Can’t do much traveling at all right now with work and a new apartment to pay for. Its kind of depressing to not be able to travel much but I’m having a blast moving into my apartment!! :)

I have always had a desire to be a constant traveller for the rest of my life…just work in order to afford the next place on the map. I know it’s impossible, but to live in some beautiful place and then when life starts to get too confined, pack up and move on. It’s an idea, but I couldn’t sacrifice my happiness from being around my family and the safe routine of life.
