itzkate really has 70 things she needs on this list.
Be thankful for the great clubs I bought this summer, and remember to pay that co-worker back for them!

What would be nice, would be to get to the driving range Tuesday and Thursday. And play Sunday or Monday. I’ll work towards it. I was impressed that I made good contact and kept the ball straight. Was getting a little challenging when darkness fell, but since this is a lighted course then I should get use to it, when I play at night.

ive been playing sports my entire life, i am a good athlete and a star in my 2 major sports (baseball, football) i wanted a challenge, so i took up golf, something i am not comfortable in doing, i am so used to being good at the other sports that its very frustrating and i feel like quitting but i then realize thats the whole reason i started playing in the first place, i never really had to practice to be good at the other sports it just came natuarally but golf is a different story, i am terrible and thats ok ive been golfing 5 times this summer at the local par 3 course its only 9 holes, the par is 27 so far this summer ive shot rounds of 42, 42, 45, 47, 42….my best is 15 over par…thats ridiculous ive been to the driving range, hell i even went mini golfing to try and touch up on putting, i dont know what to do im not getting any better, im having troubles keeping committed due to the fact that im not seeing any positive results, 2marro i am golfing the local 9 hole course its not a par 3 course its a normal course so ill see how that goes
julia2 is wondering what to do next.
among other things, my putting is horrible! I have no idea what I’m doing!
I need to take advantage of the chipping green on my front lawn and get out there and practice this year.
As of late the weather has been amazing; so I went out to the driving range. A large bucket later and I had more slices than a pie contest at a state fair. I looked at the clubs and I notice that most/all of the impact was at the point where the shaft meets the head. Any ideas on how to break this habit? Thanks.
my youngest son is enrolled at golf academy and is starting his first year on 15 January ‘07. look out for big easy nr 2!
i can never dream of beating him, but will try at least never to embarrass him too much! and to thrash his aunt, my condescending little sis. she thinks because she can drive, she’s one up on me. but what she doesn’t know, is that i’ve been practising my putts..
