I work for a live Shakespearean theatre. Sometimes I stay late…okay often. One night I said I felt like I was Shakespeare’s Girlfriend since I spent so much time with him. A few weeks after that I started on 43things and thought it was a good screen name. I so here I am all these years later. And, yes…I do still spend a lot of time with William.

How did you get your user names??

If we follow the threads of this one, there are at least 43 fascinating people, names and stories. Wonderful!

I think I’m going to set this one over to the done list. Only because there are some goals I’d like to add to my list and work on so I need to look at what I’ve done and what still needs doing and what is just the fun fluff between. It has been quite enjoyable to hear everyone’s stories and catch little glipses of their personalities, so I definately plan to check back in from time to time and continue reading along.

I don’t see my mother very often any more – we live miles away from one another. One time I was staying there for a weekend and I mentioned how just being back home was balm for my soul – and she said that’s just how she thinks of being with me, balm for her soul. So that’s me, soulbalm!

Let me start with chuq. When I went to work for Bigfoot, everyone was required to get an email address @bigfoot.com. Chuck was taken, so I chose Chuq.

As for yakuza, I have friends that have handles like snowdog, ice, storm, seamus, etc. I wanted to choose one that reflected my Asian heritage as well as having a touch of sinisterness. Yakuza fits.

This is the same username I use at bookcrossing.com

My first name is Manuel, some years ago Spanish speaking colleagues shortened it to Manu. When I signed up for bookcrossing I decided to combine book with manu and create bookmanu. When I signed up for 43t I thought it would be easier to keep the same username, I now use it elsewhere on the web.

Another nick I have is ‘Bad Hare Day’. I got this name at the Lisbon Hash.
