play with my dog more

I am going to take my dog for a walk right now! I swear I’m going to take him to the beach or up to the mountains this weekend; if I don’t then I’m just a horrible human companion who’s dog should turn on and bite his face off.

gonna try to do this every day after work this spring…

I have a Labrador Retriever named Cooper. We got him when he was still a puppy; I was only 14 years old at the time, which means he will be nine years old in December (on my 23rd birthday). He and I have been through thick and thin together. He was there for me after my first heart break. He laid around at home with me the time I tore my knee and was in a cast for three months (the whole summer!!!!). He was one of my first passengers when I got my Drivers License. He has always been a good, loyal and obedient pet. In the past two years I have found that I don’t have as much free time on my hands as I once did, and I haven’t really been spending that much time playing or going out with Cooper. Although he is not in the prime of his life anymore, I know he still has lot of energy and I want to make sure that he still gets to stretch out his legs and play every once in a while. I’m going to do my best to start taking him out more, especially since I know I won’t have him for much longer.

I seriously spent so much time with her this week. I just got back from taking her on a walk. It was short lived, only about 20 minutes, but I’m definitely taking care of her more. I feel like I can remove this from my list, even though it’s obviously something I’ll need to keep up with her whole life. But I can definitely say I’m a much nicer dog owner :)

This week I decided I have to begin this goal. I ignore her so much. I’m gonna take her on a walk with my mom at least once this week and play catch or something for sure.

... we both need the exercise…gonna start with once a day after school with the children after homework.

This is totally worth doing. It’s great bonding for you and your dog as well as good exercise. I love to play with my dog, and I hope that we have many more fun filled years together.

My dog is getting old and i feel like im taking him for granted so i deffinetly decided to play with him more often

I love my dog, Precious… She is such a good dog, and she appears to understand me like I understand her. She comes to me without even asking, and just loves me unconditionally. She really enjoys our long walks, and running too.
