Celebrate National "Carry a Tune" Week

Very happy to be attending a wedding tomorrow night…so tell me if two 43thingers marry…what kind of math is involved there…does that make 86things? or is that 43things squared??? but I digress…National Carry a Tune Week was great fun for me…. thanks team…. for the musical memories … terrific song entries…I’m humming them all right now…in my head…it’s a little bit jumble and jivey (Mairsy Doats reference) So I’m going to check this goal as done and worth doing. Fun to focus a bit more on music for the week. Just don’t have any lyrics to report because most of what I listen to is instrumental Celtic or Classical music. Or if you want a good theme song try to track down a copy of The Black Rose one of my favorite songs.

I thought I was pretty hip and up on the music scene. Today I caught an episode of Kid’s Jeopardy. One of the category’s was music and I did not know the answer to one question.

As shocking as that seemed to me it gives me something new to learn that is as easy as listening to the radio. :)

I saw the Killers on the Jimmy Kimmel Show last night …so the song for the day is…I’ve got soul but I’m not a soldier… sing it a few times…it’ll stick with you…oh how do I make it go away?

LMAO, you can ask my husband I’m usually singing, “Singin’ In The Rain”. Yeah, as in Gene Kelly…. or Paddington Bear! See, usually I’m thinking of this episode of Paddington Bear that I loved called Paddington Goes To The Movies which was actually inspired by the delights of ‘Singin’ In The Rain’

Paddington dances in the street puddles like Gene Kelly, and causes no end of bother in the process!
