Very happy to be attending a wedding tomorrow night…so tell me if two 43thingers marry…what kind of math is involved there…does that make 86things? or is that 43things squared??? but I digress…National Carry a Tune Week was great fun for me…. thanks team…. for the musical memories … terrific song entries…I’m humming them all right now…in my head…it’s a little bit jumble and jivey (Mairsy Doats reference) So I’m going to check this goal as done and worth doing. I will leave you with this song in honor of SixTumble and Werebot…
Lavender Blue
Lavender blue dilly, dilly lavender green;
If { I , you} were king dilly ,dilly {I’d, you’d} need a queen
Who told me so, dilly, dilly, who told me so?
I told myself, dilly, dilly, I told you so.
If your dilly, dilly heart feels a dilly, dilly way
‘n if you’ll answer “yes”
In a pretty little church on a dilly, dilly day
{You’ll,I’ll} be wed in a dilly, dilly dress of lavender blue
Dilly, dilly, lavender green.
Then {I’ll, you’ll} be king, dilly,dilly
And {you’ll, I’ll} be {my, your} queen.
It’s such as lovely melody… with fairy tale images…I think the groom’s first choice for the recessional is actually “Bang the Gong” by a string quintet… all the best to our couple

If you need a friend, don’t look to a stranger, You know in the end, I’ll always be there. And when you’re in doubt, and when you’re in danger, Take a look all around, and I’ll be there… The Promise (When In Rome)

Fun to focus a bit more on music for the week. Just don’t have any lyrics to report because most of what I listen to is instrumental Celtic or Classical music. Or if you want a good theme song try to track down a copy of The Black Rose one of my favorite songs.

Texas Lin is a spiritual self knowing tree hugger
I thought I was pretty hip and up on the music scene. Today I caught an episode of Kid’s Jeopardy. One of the category’s was music and I did not know the answer to one question.
As shocking as that seemed to me it gives me something new to learn that is as easy as listening to the radio. :)

LMAO, you can ask my husband I’m usually singing, “Singin’ In The Rain”. Yeah, as in Gene Kelly…. or Paddington Bear! See, usually I’m thinking of this episode of Paddington Bear that I loved called Paddington Goes To The Movies which was actually inspired by the delights of ‘Singin’ In The Rain’
Paddington dances in the street puddles like Gene Kelly, and causes no end of bother in the process!
Cheers,
Sissy

My favorite morning radio program reports that it is national carry a tune week….so they asked . “What song do you sing in the shower?”. My song? Tammy Wynette’s ” Your Good Girl’s Gonna go Bad”...or “Ave Maria”... What’s yours????
