Is he good or bad? I am glad Peter has his memory back. We found out the story behind Mya and Miguel but I need more on them. Not liking their characters too much. Electric girl. Why are her powers not surpressed? Hmmm too much going on. 4 years ago

This question seems to be where the writers are trying to point us and for the record my guess is that it’s Nikki!

Heroes last week was ok, I guess. There wasn’t much action and the storyline only got advanced a bit. I’m seriously bummed that there were no new shots of half-nekkid Peter Petrelli. So bummed in fact that I went & found the attached picture. =)

I was shocked to hear that Matt Parkman’s long lost dad is the nightmare man. Parkman is really boring this season – perhaps he’ll get bumped off by his very own Daddy?

Does anyone else think that things are moving a bit too fast between Claire and her flying boyfriend? The whole I’ll catch you when you fall bit was cheesy but it didn’t make me totally want to puke either…

The new girl with emerging powers, Micah’s cousin, is really likeable and her power to just know stuff as soon as she sees it is very cool.

The Mexican twins were lame again this week. I guess I can appreciate that the producers are setting them up by putting them in a car with Sylar – the mice in the snake’s cage sort of thing? Yet I must say “hooo-hummmm”!

Next week looks really good with Peter getting more screen time and the new Heroes cast member Kristin Bell making her debut. We’re not supposed to know if she’s good or bad so I suspect they will make us think she’s either good or bad and then she’ll actually be the other. Here’s to hoping she manages to get him half-nekkid for at least a portion of the episode. :)

Only mild spoilers here if you haven’t seen it yet.

Wow! I was blown away by this episode. It was great how all the characters wound up coming together and seeing the connections between them recognized. Hiro was great in his dealings with Ando and Sylar, and what a set up for the next season.

The fates of so many characters is up in the air though. This being like a comic book though you have to wonder are they dead or will they come back? Mama Petrelli was revealed to be an even bigger villainess than we previously were shown, and I still have to wonder what her power is.

I’ve been hearing about the next season and how we won’t see some of the characters from this season again. I think that will suck because we have invested ourselves into them. I am hoping that we’ll still get to see them now and then if not every week.

1. Hiro is the cause of just about everything. He is the reason the world is doomed. He creates the time paradox that ultimately destroys the world. What causes it? Hiro originally thinks the world was destroyed when he first warps to the future, but in reality, it was just New York. Notice that future Hiro never leaves New York? He doesn’t know that the world was not destroyed and he keeps trying to fix things. At the end of the last episode (april 23) they show him creating timelines, which shows that Hiro himself is trying to sort everything out.
2. What destroys New York? Syler explodes. This can happen one of two ways. Syler kills the nuclear guy and cannot control the new power OR Peter injects nuclear guy’s power into Syler and again, cannot control it. 4 years ago

Daniel said over in the learn how to use 43 Things q&a that the Robots did away with the galleries for goals. I’ve just today added a couple pictures to this goal to see if I could still do it, and I can. Of course you have to know the secret, but I’ll never tell. First, did anyone else call the number on Mr. Bennet’s business card (800-PRIMA 16)?

Now they’ve dropped a second Star Trek reference on us. The first was Hiro’s father’s licence plate “NCC-1701” the Enterprise’ hull number. In the last episode, Hope called Hiro, Sulu.

When Simone & Isaac were on the roof of her father’s building, Isaac said that the roof was important somehow. Afterward, invisible guy threw Peter off. Peter was able to tap into Claire’s power just before he hit. That’s the key to stopping or at least controlling the explosion.
Something that I noticed after he crushed the cab was the ad on the taxi’s roof. It was for either a TV show or maybe for the museum display…it was “Samurai – Life in Edo Japan” or something like that. It just reminded me of Hiro’s mission to get the sword.

Sylar’s newly acquired power from Zane Taylor is very, very bad. It looks like he can break down molecular bonds, turning anything into a liquid. He can’t be contained anymore. Very, very bad indeed. :(

I’m still convinced that Meredith, Claire’s natural mother started the fire. Someone was after her & she did it to get away. She was presumed dead & thought it was best that everyone thought that.
It was also clear that Nathan didn’t know she had his child. Which make me feel a little better about him. Meredith on the other hand is just out for money, lying to Nathan and Claire with little regard for either. I’m not liking her too much at the moment.

When Micah made all of those illegal withdrawals, did he jam the camera or erase the tape? If not, that could be a lot of trouble.

When Sylar escaped from the cell at the “paper factory” he pulled an ID out of Bennet’s wallet. It said “Texas Department of Public Safety”. What was that about?

Matt Parkman’s wife is having a baby. Is it his or his ex-partner’s child?

The tattoo that is showing up on everybody is the same symbol on Takezo Kensei’s sword… the sword that Lenderman has. Ando said it was a combination of two characters, Great Talent & Godsend. Who’s behind it?
The people I remember having that symbol were Nikki, Parkman, Ted Sprague (radioactive guy), the Haitian, & I believe Eden McCain had it also. Did I forget anyone?

And lastly…”Someone will fly. Someone will die.” We know Peter, Nathan, and Sylar can fly. Will it be one of them or someone else?

SPOILER ALERT:

So I like the personality of the new hero and her new power. (This is from the clip that showed during Deal Or No Deal.) What I don’t understand is why Mohinder is working with Sylar. Still the new heroine seems to pick up on Sylar’s nature, so I can’t wait to see this bit in an actual episode. 5 years ago

He would have been in his mid-twenties when he fathered Claire & would have had political inspirations at least, if he hadn’t already started his career by then.

Wow. What a shocker. I don’t know why I didn’t think of him myself. It made perfect sense. For some reason I thought it might’ve been Isaac the painter. I won’t spoil it for those of you who haven’t seen it, but it really fits well with the history of the character. 5 years ago

Just saw the preview during Deal or No Deal of the new character. She is great. It’s an inventive power that will definitely have lots of possibilities. I love how she introduced herself to Ted, and think that it’s a great twist on how she’s going to use Ted to get what she wants. 5 years ago

The new hero’s name is Hana and her power is the ability to intercept wireless communication with her mind, essentially making her the perfect modern spy. According to the Graphic Novel the preview this Monday is supposed to be in regards to who she’s on her way to find, my guess is Niki because it shows her riding off and the Road Sign has three destinations on it, one of them being Vegas. Also, if you zoom in on the letter Hana “reads” it’s mostly gibberish and random 1337 words but the subject is something to do with the DA, assuming this to be district attorney I’d say it could very well have to do with Niki. Any way, just thought I’d share that, and for those of you that haven’t read the latest issue it’s here5 years ago

I just watched Heroes: Season Summary, a new DVD from NBC that is available on Netflix. Actually, I’ve watched it four times now. It really didn’t share any secrets, but it did have nice little blurbs which I’ll post for you here:

I’m not sure I like the descriptives for Niki and D.B. The verbal description of Niki indicates that her split personality has twice the strength and half the fears. I’m not sure D.B. is a true shape-shifter since he just can go intangible. 5 years ago

When I first saw it, I was really concerned. It could go good or bad, but then, that goes for pretty much any storyline. I love the show so far, so I don’t think it would be right to judge a story until I see it play out.

I hadn’t thought about the museum possibility. That’s definetly viable.

Also, about Peter’s vision.

Now I’ve only seen the episode once, so maybe other people noticed more than myself, but so far these are a couple thoughts that I’ve come across.

1. Peter absorbs the power of the radioactive power, but can’t control it.

2. Peter absorbs too many powers and kind of over charges, exploding as a result.

3. Some people are saying that they think he may be linked to Syler somehow, that leading to his explosion.

So what does everyone think. I think I’m more partial to the radioactive guy theory, but then again, he wasn’t anywhere in the vision. Hmmmmm…....I guess I don’t know. 5 years ago

Isaac – He doesn’t need the dope to paint the future…Woohoo! The latest painting…uh-oh (see Hiro).

Hiro – Poor Hiro…again. That’s got to make him scared to use his power. He can’t kill a T-rex or anything else. That could alter the entire course of history!

Peter – What’s with the cough? I think it’s too soon for an infection. Something to do with coming into contact with Sylar? Or he didn’t fully heal from the fall? The second meeting with Claire may not have done anything because the Haitian was hanging around the police station.
Why did Nathan turn into Sylar in his dream? What ever it is…it ain’t good.
Going nuclear! I think this makes sense. Flashback to the radioactive guy, Theodore Sprague being interviewed by Matt & the FBI woman (does anyone know her name?). When they pulled their guns, he said he didn’t know if he could stop it if they shot him. Now Peter is, at best in a weekened condition. If he runs into Sprague & picks up the radioactive power, could he contain it? In the dream, Claire was there. She ran to within a couple of feet of him. That would be enough to allow Peter to heal. Perhaps enough to control the unfamiliar power and save tens of thousands.
[edit] I just caught the replay on Sci-fi, Peter was wearing Sylar’s watch!

Claire – What’s the Haitian’s secret? As if knowing that her father, had her brother and best friend’s memories wiped & has been doing it to her mother for years weren’t enough to scare the living crap out of her. I think this freaks her out completely & runs away (following Peter to N.Y.).

Haitian guy – Is he working for someone else? Or is he developing a conscience? Did he know her birth parents?

Nikki/Jessica – I have no idea where this plotline is going.

Matt – Now that he’s following Bennet, will it lead him to Claire, getting memory wiped by the Haitian again, or running into Sylar?!?

Sylar – He’s loose! But where is he going to go? I don’t think he’s got Eden’s power though. She did what she did, to stop him from getting it. 5 years ago

If anyone missed any of the Heroes episodes or would like to see what this show is about, the Sci Fi channel is going to show a Heroes marathon today from 6pm-1am (pacific time in the US). I’m just going to record the episodes because that’s a long time to watch TV continuously! 5 years ago

Who was the “Human Torch” looking hero in Isaac’s newest painting? I guess it could be the radioactive man, Theodore Sprague, but I don’t think it so.

The woman at the Burnt Toast Diner said Hiro left “weeks ago”. Why would he leave Charlie just before the event that caused him to go back?

We haven’t seen him, but Lenderman’s name keeps popping up. D.L. was going to rob him, Nikki/Jessica did rob him, he blackmailed Nikki so he could blackmail Nathan, and he bought one of Isaac’s paintings. Will Lenderman turn out to have powers also?

One thing that surprised me was that I really thought that Peter was going to get his scar this week fighting Syler. With the blood it was a little hard to tell, but it looked like all his wounds were healed when the cops showed up.

Wow…the teaser for next week looked awesome. It looked like Nathan ran his car into the barriers on purpose. What’s up with that? And it looks like Jessica was Nikki sister…and she seems to have anger issues with daddy. 5 years ago

I love how things are starting to come together. The preview for next week looked really awesome. The new character’s ability looks like it’s going to be really cool and it appears we’ll finally find more out abotu Nikki’s mysterious ability. I’m excited and can’t wait. 5 years ago

Claire’s father. I think that the black guy in the bar is claire’s fathers associate and that he is tracking the other ‘heroes’ for their brains. Possibly to get their powers. 5 years ago
