travel to antarctica

I love snow, and it just seems so pure and quiet there! I dont know what you can do there, but maybe i could help and do research for 6 months, i would like that. I also think it would be cool to tell people you have gone to place that the majority of the world never sees!

not likely to happen for years to come, but before I die, I have to experience this continent.

its so idyllic…the cold and the ice, as if once i’m there anything is possible.

I hate cold but want to say I have been to all 7 continents, 5 of 7 are done, just waiting on the opportunity. Also, it’s a lot harder to travel here, no way to back-pack-it or make your own plans. I don’t really like organized travel, but if I make it to Africa, I’d do an organized trip to Antarctica . . .

Maybe the last pure continent, why not visit it before the hand of man finally destroy the last bit of purity that we have…also i love penguins

Of all the destinations in the world, Antarctica is the place I most desire to visit. I would love to see all of the wildlife there and the beauty of the sun against the its white surface. I’ve been fascinated with the mystery of this continent since childhood. I have an aquaintance who went there and she showed me all of her photos and told me all about the trip, so at least now I feel like it really is an attainable goal.
