    Goal: Ten months out - Buy a Spinning Wheel 13 months ago

    Today is Oct 21 2008. I have been using a drop spindle for 2 months now and am ready to try a spinning wheel. In the next 6 months I will:
    (a) refine my spinning skills and learn different plys with the drop spindle
    (b) research the heck out of spinning wheels
    (c)save up for said wheel… should have the $ in 6 months – 10 at the latest

    After a LOT of research, I bought a double treadle Ashford Traveller. It is amazing. I’ve also begun dyeing my own roving, too!
