I’m heading up a charity ride from Portland, Oregon, USA to Tierra del Fuego and back. The goal is to raise a ton of money to help treat childhood diseases. If you want to get involved (riding with us, supporting the charity, etc.) check out RideSouth.org. It’s a work in progress right now, but we’re getting everything up as fast as we can!

In 1957, writer George Stewart set out to drive as far north and south as possible from the continental US. He made it as far as Circle, Alaska and Santa Isidro, Costa Rica. He wrote about his journeys in NA 1. I would like to drive from Prudhoe Bay to Tierra del Fuego. I don’t know if there are connecting roads between Panama and Columbia, but I want to give it a try. I would like to write a book about the journey and see it published.
