Free bar at a good friends wedding! I’m tipsy after the wine with the meal, harassing the bar staff to make me a Pina Colada. After a 5 minute slurred discussion, their excuses were … no cocktail shaker, cocktail shaker was broken, no pineapple juice, no coconut milk and no milk. Defeated, I had to have a beer. Boo. 5 years ago

Went out with more friends on a cocktail evening round Bristol.
Pina Coladas are hard to find, but we ended up at Las Iguanas on the waterfront.
The Pina Coladas were good and went down very easily, but needed slightly more kick.
Either way a good night was had by all and we stayed till closing! 5 years ago

Todd, Miriam, Simon and I went out on August Bank Holiday Sunday for cocktails in Bristol.
The cocktails in Hot House were excellent in particular the Pina Coladas which went down like milkshakes.
So after not really having a good one for 4 years, it inspired this entry on 43things. 5 years ago

One of the tasks on this holiday was to find the best Pina Colada on the Island.
After trying several bars who gave us gallons of cocktails with pineapple juice and no alcohol, we ended up at Cafe Del Mar.
My friend told the barman that we had heard he made the best and strongest Pina Coladas on the island. The barman must have been flattered because we got the best Pina Colada I have ever had. It was made with all the correct ingredients including coconut milk and plenty of rum.
Shortly after that, my friend fell off the wall as the sun finally set and Jose Padilla entertained the crowds on the rocks. 5 years ago
