i’m quite impressed i made it to 10 miles and did keep them around 10 minutes each or less. hurt my knee pretty bad, but really got in great shape and have maintained much of it. half-marathon training is a very good exercise in, um, exercise.

after 4 months of training, and my final run before my half marathon, i did my first 10 miler only to injure my iliotibial band/right knee. ugh. now i get to stand by and helplessly witness my cardiovascular decline and set this goal aside while i do horrifically tedious little “exercises” to strengthen/stretch this area. i guess that’s why i was supposed to be cross-training all along. {sigh}
