Excellent book but it ends on a cliffhanger. don’t try it unless you are willing to at least start reading The Confusion after it.

I finished it this afternoon. Not at all disappointed by the ending, but it may be a week or two before I can pick up the next one.
The ending leaves you wanting more. Which I guess is to be expected, since it’s part one of a trilogy.
I got back to reading over the weekend because I was sick. Only 100-ish pages to go, then I get to start the second volume.
It’s kind of bogging down in the last couple hundred pages, and real life is distracting me…but I have to finish it so I can move on to the next book!
It’s a really good book, but I am having momentum issues. Part of the problem is that I can’t read it on the subway (it’s too large and my commute is so short it would just get frustrating).
but as long as it’s there. I started Quicksilver. I started Mason and Dixon, too.
