OK, so with gas prices averaging $3.61 and no end in sight, I think I need to save my expendable income for things that aren’t so expendable anymore, like transportation. I know I keep coming up with excuses for not doing this one, but I do think this is a pretty good one. Let’s just watch and see what kind of trouble we get into with the economy and make decisions from there! 5 years ago

I think I figured this one out. I pay a guy to mow my lawn from May through October each year. This year after the last payment to him, I’ll have a person start cleaning my house for about the same amount. Then, when mowing season rolls around again, I’ll have already gotten a raise and I’ll be forced to add back in the mowing bill. I’ll also be used to paying the cleaning bill at that point, so it shouldn’t be that big of a deal then. I am so cheap I have to actually trick myself into paying for something that I really want and can afford. What kind of craziness is that?
Well, anyway, it will work and that’s all that’s important right now. 5 years ago
