I just walked out of the house and there was a hedgehog right in front of me. I wasn’t really paying attention and certainly wasn’t expecting it, meaning I shrieked and jumped back!

I saw a hedgehog. I’ve been house sitting for my mum and she had one in her garden, going by the poo i’m guessing there are loads of them, or that a big one lives there. I’m still not satisfied enough to tick this off my list because when i woke my eldest daughter and told her there was a hedgehog and did she want to come and see it, she just blinked, said no, rolled over and went back to sleep.
Then the hedgehog ran off. I got a rubbish photo though! 5 years ago

It must be alive though and ideally wandering free. I would really like to find a hedgehog with my eldest daughter cos she’d be well excited and she calls them ‘heghodges’.

Hopefully going on a nature walk on saturday so we’ll keep us eyes peeled. I have seen hedgehogs before but not for ages.
