move to another country

This life is a ride, and as far as I know, it will have some end to it when I’m old, and I want to get the best out of this life.

If you stay in one place for all your life, you’re not going to have different perspectives. Travelling really opens up your eyes, your mind and lets you learn a lot of new things about the world around you, but also about YOU. I’m not done learning. And I’m not ready to settle here in Holland.

I think Holland is a small, rather amature country with little beautifull nature. Everything revolves around building houses and expanding cities. I want to travel the world, and find a place where I want to spend a lot more years. Maybe even just for a few years and move on again.

I’ve been considering moving to another country for a while now, the only thing that seems to be stopping me is fear:
I’m only 18, and I have no idea how I would go about even moving to another country.

It’s always been a dream of mine to live in a different place. I think that I need to see the world and experience new cultures. I want to learn different languages and engage in new things. I hear people saying that it’s easy, that they just went to a different place and everything worked out ok. I want to believe this is true, but honestly I’m afraid. I don’t know how to accomplishe this, especially because I have sooooo many bills to pay: my student loans, my car, my credit cards, need I say more? I need advise from people that have done it and have words of wisdom for a girl who want to change her life.

Moved from England to Greece (Crete to be exact) and was so worth it. Laid back atmosphere, cheaper to live, good weather (only worn shorts during the day so far). Do miss family and friends a bit but got dad coming over next month so got that to look forward to and I’m making new friends over here.

I have roughly two to three years before I can move.

I’m sorry to say, but there is absolutely no chance that my country will become a place I’d really like to live in anywhere within the next century or so, I mean, of course progress is being made, but it’s way too slow and I’ll never live to see the best bits.

We live exactly 1 life on this Earth, no less, no more, and I am damn well going to do anything to make mine as good as possible. To that end, I’m going to try hard to move to a country where there is less dirt, ignorance, corruption, lawlessness. Against me lie intolerance, global economy and political issues, and my only weapons will be sheer endurance and my ability to be good at my job no matter what it is.
