visit a foreign country

I’ve visited Paris twice, both times were school trips and we just did the typical touristy stuff (disneyland, eiffel tower, some random restaurant)

I want to see the world.

I have never been out of this country and i realllly want to go somewhere!

Doesn’t matter where. I just want to go to a foreign country.

I definitely want to travel and see some more of the world beyond the US!

I need to leave my little box and see the world. I’ve seen $100 round flights to London from my local airport online. Maybe one day I’ll take it.

I need a trip so bad, to get cultural perspective, to realize there is more than my own New England area, dare I say be the person who doesn’t speak the language…I am thinking maybe Ireland, England, Scotland at first, because I could get around without much of a language barrier. I still love the idea of Italy though…heck anywhere that is nice would work…have to make this happen sooner than later..

People have told me it doesn’t really count since its still only North America, but I have been to Canada and Mexico..Between the 2 going to Quebec Canada was the most interesting,since it was different than the other parts of Canada I had visited.

Most of my money is going towards my college degree. I think once I get it I’ll celebrate with a vacation to New Zeland. I’m also kind of waiting for my fiance to get his debts paid (which will take a good year anyway).

I have no idea how much it will cost, where I want to go, or what I’ll do when I get there. I’ll do some research, but I like my vacations to be open to whatever, less planning and more wandering.

I have a good amount of money saved up right now BUT my only problem is making the time for a vacation. Maybe sometime in August 07 or next year some time. I might wait until my fiance has enough money so we can go together.

We both want to go to Australia and New Zealand, maybe for our honeymoon…

My cousin who’s like a modern nomad asked if I wanted to come to Argentina w/ her this June. I think it would be awesome! I don’t know a whole lot about Argentina but I have time to study up. I just know I want to travel out of the country anywhere this year. And if I can do it with someone I know..even better! I’m not sure I’d be able to travel alone yet. I’ve always been w/ other people, that’s more of a safety issue.

I guess you can say this would be a new year’s resolution.
