find 43 geocaches

On another nice and sunny walk
we found two caches
(not really by chance)
and suddenly I realized
now I have found 43!

It is not that many
compared to other people.
They find 43 in one day.

But, to me (to us)
Geocaching is most fun,
if it is
a side dish on a hike,
an excuse for a walk,
a distraction after a meeting.

still think geocaching is fun. Exspecially the moment when you arrive at a place and know somewhere here it has to be, so start searching for the hiding place, then finally (sometimes easily, sometimes not at all) figure out where it is – seconds later hold it in your hand.
I already liked searching things when I was a child, now geocaching’s THE thing if you’re “grownup” but the child in you is still quite big :-)

I think it’s amazing how many things we don’t see, we have not even a clue that they are existant. Finding a cache at a spot, where I’ve walked by many times, seems even more faszinating to me because then I knew it was already there before I knew…

I am very much looking forward to the second half of this goal and to every further cache.
