Watch 1000 horror films that I haven't already seen

12. The Hills have Eyes 2 – just awful. But I sort of knew that going in…

I’m doing fairly well on my “see 1,000 new horror films” goal. Thus far:

1. Mizuchi (Death Water)- Not bad considering a fairly tired storyline.
2. Marebito – absolute mindfuck even for J-horror; in a good way
3. The Host – really really good
4. Sympathy for Lady Vengeance – Wonderfully shot and evocative score make this one beautiful to watch (PS I know this may not qualify technically as “horror” but still…)
5. Memento Mori – not bad
6. 28 Weeks Later- Meh. I’m terrified of “28 years later”.
7. John Carpenter’s Cigarette Burns – Liked it.
8. Gojira – wow. it really was like watching a movement of nature I’m not even kidding i liked it
9. The Order – Meh.
10. Chakushin ari 2 [One Missed Call 2] – Surprisingly better than you’d think.
11. Pon [Phone] – good because 1. I totally didn’t see the ending coming, and 2. that little girl is by FAR the creepiest kid ever. That last scene on the stairs…? [shudder]
