I have wanted to do this for awhile now but have never lived in an area where they provided them. I’m in a bigger city now so hopefully I can check this off my list sooner than later!

How I did it: I went to a restaurant that has free salsa dancing on wednesdays and learned how from their free lessons. I'm still terrible at dancing, but I would go again! It was so much fun. Lessons & tips: Don't wear bad shoes. |

Why Take salsa lessons? Because I don’t think there is anything sexier than knowing how to do some sweet dances. I think it would be fun, and great to watch other and great to be able to do.

Ok, I love dancing, but here there are fewer Latinos to dance with and more look-at-the-moves-I-learned white guys. To them it’s either not instinctual enough for them to dance with me, at my level, or they are trying to show off. So if I add some moves and really learn the dance, I’ll have more fun with them, and with any Latinos lucky enough to dance with this white girl with rhythm.
MR says he wants to take lessons, so if we both sign up, I’ll have more motivation to go. Besides, what could be more fun?!

I used to love dancing when i was younger, i want to get fitter but dont really like the normal kinds of working out, but love dancing. Salsa might make me feel sexy again, as my bf dumped me….

What does Tito Puente, Celia Cruz, Cachao,
Eddie Palmieri, El Gran Combo and Andy Montañez have in common? The teacher at the salsa school was a dancer for them.
The schedule will be up soon for Feb. and I can pick the classes I want to take.
