How I did it: Honestly it took me getting married to accomplish this goal. My wife made sure that I hung and folded my clothes every night. Then one day I just started doing it on my own! Read how I did it…
How I did it: I ended up buying a couple of washing baskets from Argos, one for dirty clothes & one for clean clothes. So now instead of throwing all my clothes on the floor till I could be bothered to move them, I put them into a washing basket until I feel like dealing with them.Doesn't stop me being lazy but it does stop clothes being everywhere all over the floor Read how I did it…

How I did it: Am I completely cured of my bad littering ways? No, afraid not. When I get home and I'm tired, or I hop into the shower after a late night, I do forget to hang my clothes up properly. But it's more an exception than a rule now, so I say yay for me :). Read how I did it…

How I did it: Tossing clothes on the floor was a hard habit to break. I had circumstance on my side: my new house in the mountains has cold, damp concrete floors. The high humidity and damp floors make anything set on them susceptable to going moldy. Avoiding mildew was the main factor, but after a while the habit was broken and not I don't toss clothes on the floor no matter where I am. Read how I did it…

It’s actually a lot easier to accomplish this goal when you have a new puppy that will urinate on anythign left on the floor. Unfortunately, I’ve just swapped this habit for throwing my clothes on doors, closets, hooks , chairs etc.
All I did was come up with storage options while living in my dorm room. Just as easy done as said. I can’t wait until I have an apartment next year. . .countdown until August beginning NOW!

My house has been near to spotless now since the start of the year. No clothes on the floor. This could just be a temporary fase of cleanliness, so I’m gonna see if I can keep this up until february.
FallenHope Is finally enjoying my life! =)
I realllllllly need to do this, and i always say im gonna do this but i end up throwin clothes on floor!! i need to learn that when i take clothes off before bed, either put them in laundry basket OR fold themup and put them on chair!!! ITS MY MISSION TO DO THIS FOR ONE MONTH!! hehe!!

I love it
I love ripping clothes off and tossing them on the floor
it’s so careless and liberating.
I try to keep other things tidy.
If I could do this, things might feel more organized and healthy.
it’s just like squeezing the toothpaste from the middle of the tube

I am actually getting better at this. Not quite there yet, this morning I failed terribly. But I have a bit more rythm now that when I come home I hang up my coat and don’t just throw it over a chair. And I bought this extra coathanger thing you hang over a door, so now I try to hang all my clothes on that. I hope in a few weeks I might allow myself to strike this one off the list….

viobio asks,
“OK, so where should I put the "half-dirty" clothes that I wore once? If I put in closet, the dark will breed moths; on the floor they get hair and dust in them; on a hook the knits get stretched out. Maybe make room for a nice chair or two?”
