This went off so well. The Way Post was a great place to hold it, and our people are fantastic. Taking it as a trial run, i think we’ll definitely do it again, but i worry about the dynamic changing too far in the “i’m just watching” direction if it gets bigger. I want to make it split when there are more people than reading slots, and enforce a participants-only rule… but that would discourage participation and require more organization.
Yeah, next time, plan farther in advance, more organizers, maybe buttons, maybe press release to the weeklies. 5 years ago

The venue. time and date are all confirmed. But so far, no one is stepping forward to do the reading, just hazy “we’ll be there”s, as if this is something to consume. I think i need to make some kind of “participants only” kind of rule.
Need to: figure out MCs for each measure, (maybe) select recommended arguments, (maybe) make a flyer? post to FG-social? perhaps that’s overreaching. Find out about getting supplementary copies of the pamphlet.
