take photos of 43 things that make me happy

Aw, but they’re cute :) I’m definitely no twitcher, but I find it hugely relaxing watching the little birds hopping around, having fun, and enjoying just being little birdies :) Especially great at my dad’s house, as they have birdfeeders and bath right outside of the livingroom window.

There’s something so calming about trees. I don’t spend enough time outside, really – but this is from my summer holidays in Cornwall, in the woodland part of the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Nothing uber-special, but it makes me feel peaceful :)

Okay, so I’ve picked the weirdest shot in the world to represent this, but it’s quite often the oddest little corners of my home that make me stop and think, “mine”, with just such calm happiness.

(Obviously these are in no particular order – I wouldn’t dare suggest books rank higher than the man half-responsible for my life ;))

This is my dad’s hand (he deserves some privacy!), and yes he is attempting to stroke a bee!

I adore books. And reading. But also just books :)

It’s a love hate thing.

I love smoking. I hate trying to stop.

My mobile is very valuable to me. Not in terms of money but in terms of a lifeline.

If ever I’m bored I can ring someone and arrange to go to the pub. If ever I’m lost I can ring someone and ask for directions, and if ever I’l stuck, I can ring for someone to come and pick me up.

Without my phone, my social life would be half as good as it is now.

I think music is one of the key factors to my personality. Without it I’d go mad. With it I go mad in a better way.

I love all genres, bar a few. Drum & Bass and Jungle being my current niches, I love old Indie (The Smiths etc.) Reggae, old Rock (the Rolling Stones, Beatles, Pink Floyd, Hendrix, the Who etc.) all the way through to Electro, some Techno, Speed Garage, Bassline and Dance.

Without music I’m absolutely positive I’d be less of a human.
