find a real job

i decided it was a high time i found a real job for long than 6 months, something serious I could spend few years in, i dohope im on the good way and finally i’ll fnd something good and satysfing for me

I want to work a job that there’s a future and security in. Enough already of the your not worth a piece of dirt blowing in the wind. Advice to those starting out in the work world, don’t give away your energy, hard work ethic, and ability on anyone. In the end your a ragged piece of meat to them, so chase after the money and leave the loyalty to the ones that truly don’t understand business as usual.

So I graduate college on March 23. Plan on moving to Seattle on March 25. I give myself until May to have at least gone on a few interviews.

So I have a new job in retail, it isn’t the desk job I wanted but I’m making good money and getting great hours so I shouldn’t complain.

It will do for now.

Okay…so I got out of grad school almost 2 years ago and I haven’t accomplished this yet. However…a good friend & I decided that my problem isn’t qualifications—it’s marketing.

I went to DC to market my skills to the employer who would want them most—the feds. So far, nothing. But yesterday I applied to nine positions and I’m still in the running for three jobs with the Peace Corps. So keep your fingers crossed for me!

Tomorrow, I keep applying!!

Ok, so I thought once I found a real grown-up type job my life would come into order. Uh…NO! It made everything worse and I hate it. I might even be changing my major because it was the line of work that I THOUGHT I wanted to go into. I think I was wrong. So I will stick with it until I find another job or maybe it will grow on me. I don’t know. The money is good and that helps. It’s really the only reason this was worth doing.

I start my new job in a week. Not exactly my ideal job, but it is a real job and it is a start. It will get me somewhere, and I will be successful.

I love my current job as a Nanny but I hate the insane hours with little pay, I also hate the disgust my family and friends have for me and my “low class” job. I want to have a real grown up job, with a desk and pictures of my cat. I no longer want to come home smelling of diaper cream and covered in paint. I have no idea what “real job” I want but I’m working on it.

but i dont have a real job, it’s depressing and frustrating. but i know i am not the only one going through this, which makes me feel a little better. starting TOMORROW, i will get my butt out there and really look hard for one. because that’s how much i want it, and when i want something, i will make sure i get it.

God….I’ve had it short since I was 15 – it’s high time that my nickname be Rapunzel!
