...whether to tick this task off or not. I did get this done in Vietnam. When it was first done it was lovely and straight. I waited 6 days rather than the 3 they recommended before washing it.
But guess what, as soon as I washed it it was no longer lovely and straight. Now its about halfway between straight and how curly it was before. I actually kind like it, because the frizz is all gone, but I feel like its still me. But still, I wanted a dramatic change!!
So would I do it again? Yeah definitely! Even if it doesn’t go dead straight again the removal of the frizz factor is awesome. But I kind of feel like I haven’t had it done anyway if that makes sense, thus the debate about whether to tick this off.
Anyway it’s late and I’m rambling now. Time for bed!!

Is to get this done over here in Vietnam – its about a fifth the price of getting it done in Australia!!
I got a haircut yesterday that looks great straight, but I’m very scared of what its going to look like as soon as I wash it. Short fringy bits – very scary!! Oh well, I have lots of bobby pins with me at least!!

1. I did a “photo shoot” on Sunday morning for a friend of mine’s beauty salon. She blowdried my hair straight and did my makeup for it. I’ve loved having nice smooth hair for the last few days.
2. As part of one of my other tasks I’ve been uploading to flickr photos from last year when I got a haircut and blowdry straight. I’ve got 2 comments saying they looked good. I’m sad I’ll have to wash my now-straight hair tomorrow morning!!
Realistically I’m hoping to do this in Feb next year when I get back from Vietnam…
