work in UK or Ireland for 6 months

I’d love to stay in Ireland or the Uk for six month or longer. But first I have to graduate and find out what I want to do with my life. But I think it would be a good experience for me to spend 6 month in a foreign country and I chose Ireland or the UK because I love the language which they speak and moreover I visited Ireland 2 years ago and it was great there. :)
But as I mentioned before: I first have to find out what I want to do with my life.
It would be great if I could study in germany and spend 6 month for example in London. :)
