How to backup my computer

 How I did it: I couldn't believe how easy this was. Got a cheap external hard drive on sale and just copied the files across. Despite the large amount of music and photos on my computer it was very quick. Such a weight off my mind knowing if my computer dies my files won't die with it! Lessons & tips: Just get in and do it before it's too late. If even my inept mind can manage it you'll be fine. |

My hard drive died about 2 weeks ago. All of my stuff was gone. So I decided to backup my stuff.
Now I’ve Backed up my stuff on my bf’s computer. Mostly were my cats old pics. I’ll backup my important stuff right after I acquire them from now on.

I’ve already copied everything on my external hard drive. But I’m still worried about my music though. I think I’ll have some problems with iTunes. I’ll take care of it after my finals.

There was a commercial running over the holidays, i think, for a remote backup service. the cost was about $15 annually. I would like to learn more but can’t recall the name of the service!

Thought this would occupy me for the day but it was really quick. So glad it’s done and I’m less likely to lose all my stuff now.

Computer is backed up, cleaned up, and organized – all except my oh so important email database which I can’t get to copy. I cleared off some programs that I was having trouble with, so now I need to get some tech help to put humpty back together again.
