Scott & I signed the least today for the two bed townhome with basement!!! Getting keys tomorrow. We finally did it. I can’t wait!
How to get my own place again

"Very hard & a lot of work"
How I did it: Well after we lost our old apartment... we wern't in the best shape.. our credit was shot we were both broke. & We have to live seperately which in my opinion was the worst part. I stayed with him at his Dad's for about 3 months that didn't work out. So I went to my brother's for the last 5 and it's been really hard. Going through job after job, but we finally got everything figured out. We had to watch our spending. & actually shop around this time. & it helps to know people because word of mouth actually helped us find our place. & we're paying almost $100 less than our old apartment for nearly 600 MORE square ft. and a basement!!! Our old apartment was just a garden style with one level and no basement... this one is a townhome with a basement. So be sure to shop around to get the best deal. I know it's exciting to move and a lot of people due to the excitement go to the first place that will have them.
Lessons & tips: Really think about what you need... when you go to the store make a list before hand that way you don't spend more money than you planned and you know what you NEED.

So My boyfriend has a job too. And we are well on our way to a new apartment. I can’t wait. I bought a cash box that locks and all the apartment money is going in that box. I’m so excited. It’s all finally starting to happen again. & I miss our apartment days so much. Everything was going right.. but things are back on track and we are going to move withing the next 2-4 months =-]

Well… I am well on my way. I have a job interview tomorrow and we will see how it goes. If all goes well I can start saving for the deposit and pet deposit. I can’t wait!

I’ve went through a lot when it comes to my old apartment. All I got to say is never move in with a friend. It does’t work. We aren’t realy friends anymore. Me & my boyfriend came home one day and she was gone. Left us with the bills. I was young didn’t know I could sue her and all that so eventually we lost the apartment due to a health hazard and a trip to the emergency room. From black mold that gave me bronchitous. So I want another apartment. Just me and him, and it has to be in good shape. I won’t sign any lease until I see the place first. Word of advice check the little room that has the water tank and furnice in it for mold.

I officially have my own place again! I don’t actually plan on moving in for another week or two but I am very happy because when my roommate/ best friend moves I won’t have to find a new roommate. Plus, it will be nice to have a place of my own again. :)

I turned in my application for the wonderful little studio I looked at a few weeks ago. As of right now I am #2 on the list so hopefully it will not be too long before a unit comes open for me. I can’t wait!!

Right now I live with my best friend and I love it but this summer she is going to be moving to LA to go to school and I do NOT want to live there so I want to get my own place instead of finding a new roommate. I have lived on my own before and it was sorta lonely but I think it will be a lot better that taking my chances on the roommate lotto. Luckily, I like living in small spaces so I might be able to even get a studio for less money that a 1 bedroom might cost me.
