I sent the bride’s mother and the other photographer the link and password. The bride’s mother said the photos were fantastic; as I said, I’m not quite that pleased with them, but I think overall they came out better than I hoped. I can’t wait for the bride and groom to get back from their honeymoon so they can see (and share) the photos, too.

And I don’t think I freaked out, although I was nervous. I am still reviewing/editing the photos. Some came out really well, some not so well. The new couple left yesterday for their honeymoon, but I know there are many folks still in town who want to see them!

A lot of people told me before the wedding that they thought this could lead into a more profitable variety of my photography than shooting sports. I think that’s very possible, but I don’t know that I’d want to subject myself to this kind of pressure on a regular basis.

I’m glad the wedding is over, and I look forward to completing my review/edit/post of the photos. 6 years ago

I will be the official photographer (well, one of two) at a friend’s wedding tomorrow afternoon. This will be my first time as the official wedding photographer, and I don’t feel like I am ready.
