save money for christmas

well i want to save up money for christmas so that i can be ready. every year i am stressed around that time because i never have money to give good gifts and go out. i always have to burrow money to pay back slowly. but this year i have a job…yayyy,... so yeah im thinking around 5hundred. i can save like 50-75 dollars biweekly till dec.10 cuz i get paid like that… but i am a big money waster,,,, lets see how it goes,.,.,.,,., :/

There is only one problem with this goal this year. WHERE IS THE MONEY??? We did put some into savings, for taxes and Christmas, but I strongly suspect I’ll be forced to remove it and use it for something else….

starting today (Boxing Day 2008)I will put $2 a day into a “Piggy Bank”. I will NOT touch this money until Christmas 2009. This way I might actually have a ‘stress-free-debt-free’ Christmas next year.

This is the second year in a row I failed to do this. I’ll leave the goal up, because I intend to do this next year. As for this year, we’ll have to see what happens this Fall.
I prefer to be ready, and I love planning ahead. Not being able to put money asside is going to eat at me.
Next year for sure…
