Developing an Australian accent was one of the more difficult dialects I’ve taken on over time, but I finally had an excuse to work on it, so I ended up developing it for my dialect training website. There’s actually a lot of variation in the dialect, but it’s a bit more about social position than it is about regionalisms. There’s a lot in common with a Kiwi/New Zealand accent, too, so I grouped them together. 3 years ago
