In one hour since putting the books on the BookMooch website, 4 different people have contacted me for the same book! Its incredible how quickly things work! And now I am sending out 2 books tomorrow, and I am looking at recieving my first book ever!
Everyone is so nice and curteous on this site (not that I didnt’ expect them to be.. free books!), and they are all really understanding as well. No one wants you to pay big money for shipping, and they understand if you can’t ship internationally (Note: when you sign up… make sure that you at least put your status to: email me, if you aren’t sure about international shipping. I had someone in england want to mooch a hardcover…)

GREAT experience! Totally worth it!

This morning I went through my rather small library, picked up 3 books that I’ll never read again and put them on bookmooch. :)

The only problem with this goal is that I like all my books a lot… thats the reason I own them. Perhaps I will go to a garage sale and see if I can purchase some cheap books? ... I really don’t konw what to do :(

I’ve sent out 5 or 6 books. Still haven’t found anything I’m interested in getting but I may just be in a picky reading phase. Nice to have the books out of the house and well loved.

I’m now about two-for-one on giveaways vs. mooches. I should really, really not mooch any more before we move.
