stop smiling at people who i'd much rather kick in the eye

I’ve been working at Safeway for about 3 months and it sucks!! However, this has given me an opportunity to work on my goal. When I work an 8-hour day (no lunch, couple of 10 -min breaks), I usually stop smiling and being polite by hour 5 or 6. I even got a complaint the other day!!

I tolerate my coworkers, but I can’t stand customers. I know my job is to serve them, but I feel as if they’re bothering me. I can only be fake for so long. Honestly, this job has brought out some of my worst qualities. But at least I’m not smiling at all the jerks that come through. Though, I’m not a complete bitch…

I do this a lot. I hate it. Afterwards I realize what I just did, but then it’s to late. How the hell am I going to stop… I feel wily.
