I went to see my doctor and he just put is face in his hands and said ‘Why, why???’
So I explained and he still didn’t understand, so I explained again, and he told me that wouldn’t refer me as no one would do the procedure on someone so young.

I’ve been wanting to do this for such a long time.

I don’t know why not having children is still so taboo. What’s wrong with wanting to enjoy life, and career with someone I love, without looking after youngsters?

What makes it worse, is when people say: ‘you’ll feel differently later on’. What makes them think I’ll change my mind?

I’ve put a lot of thought and discussion into this, and I’m looking foreward to it with excitement. Now all I’ve just got to convince my doctor, and break it to my mum that I’ll never give her grandchildren…
