Today my Landlord stopped by and brought me a…. NEW STOVE! :) It’s truly the little things that make one happy! does a happy dance and shouts “I got an oven.. I got an oven.. I got an oven.. hey hey! hey hey!

My apt had a stove that was kind of ancient, and two of the four burners didn’t work. I affectionately called it my “easy bake oven” because it was only slightly larger than my bright purple retro oven that accompanied a lightbrite many xmases ago..(though the oven stopped working as well.. so I am not sure if I could even use the term- “oven”) Hmmpf.

Was I about to complain? Nah. My rent is cheap, I live 3 blocks from the beach, 4 blocks from the bay, and I can paint my walls red, if I please! :-p

Anywho- this was one of my lame excuses for not cooking as much…. so… even though it wasn’t my doing exactly…I’m on my wayyyy! :)

On that note, maybe I will spend my day off baking my neighborhood some pies? 5 years ago
