It’s been said many times and many ways…. Simple doesn’t imply easy. Just Be.

SweetMK Has it, in abundance...
I returned to 43T with the intention of pursuing goals that were basic and pure, yet so challenging for me to achieve. I have just started to think beyond my proverbial box, and am coming to the delightful realization of all of the power within me, waiting to be harnessed, cultivated, and used to acheive a heightened state of being.
In the spirit of beginning my journey, I will define my goal of “Be”...
- Be Present
- Be Authentic
- Be Grateful
- Be Aware
- Be Open
On a related note, there is a person on 43T who continually inspires me with her thoughts and observations on various topics. If you haven’t checked her out yet, do so. You won’t be disappointed!
I want to be true to myself. To engage in self-love or hate and be. Just be. To accept who iam to myself and not conform to the world views of who I should be.

sometimes it seems like the difference is negligible.
who you choose to be, right now, determines in part who you will become.
I think it requires consistency mingled with a lump some of patience. One will eventually realize that life is temporary thus we require a purpose. The only way to achieve purpose is by being yourself.

from her poem, Nothing So Far:
What were we, then,
Before the being of ourselves began?
Nothing so far but strangeness
Where the moments of the mind return.
Nearly, the place was lost
In that we went to stranger places.

yet another addition to sermons to myself
we will “be” something, one way or another, all our lives.
I am who I choose to be. I always have been what I chose… though not always what I pleased.
(Lois McMaster Bujold)
it’s not enough to Passively be. we must Actively be. CHOOSE what you are being!
knowing you who are and being who you already are is only the first step. be not just who you are- be the person you want to be. things happen to you, around you, inside you. events take place. but what you yourself do, think, act, feel; that is your choice. that is what and who you are. that is being.
who should you be? who could you be? who and what would you be if you knew you would not fail at that? BE that person.
one heartbeat at a time.
if not, you will be someone else.
