Today i came into office late (as is more usual than unusual these days..)

1. went to lunch…
2. came back and worked some more on the Christmas cards!
3. took a break and met a friend for drinks..and brownies…
4. FINISHED my cards
5. AND took them to the post office..

Officially handed them to postman @ 4:33pm 10 days BEFORE Christmas!!
there is a half decent chance most folks will get them before the holidays!WHEW… made it…

7 of them are going out with Christmas presents not already distributed. 5 of them are going out to family members which I don’t have addresses for, but Mom does. I’ll be at her house this weekend and can do those on Saturday or Sunday. Another one going to some friends I can look up the address for while there, too. Then, I’ll just have to locate the addresses for three others if I can before checking this one off. 6 years ago

I don’t have 6 addresses that I need, so I’ll need to search for them. If I do locate them, I’ll have 32 to send. If not I’ll have at least 26 to send or give out with presents. I have 7 to give out with presents and the rest to mail out or give out. I started on a “Year in Review” letter yesterday. I think that will speed up the process of the ones I have to send out. 6 years ago

is finding the right cards.. i was close to buying some a few times..but.. they were’ nt perfect.. and i dont like to buy things dont TOTALY love… soo im still gonna look cause the buying or making has to take place this week…..

I’ve gotten some more done. If I got my counting correct I think I have 39 to go. I have a couple more 43T people to do, my family’s, my out-of-town friends, and my friends who I’m giving gifts to that I haven’t distributed yet. 6 years ago

I sent out all but one card from my remaining friends and 43 Thingers. I’m waiting to hear back on an address for two 43ers, and I need to decide on what kind of a card to send my last friend. Still I consider myself done since at this point I will only send out additional cards if I receive a card from someone I’ve not already sent a card to. Wow! This is very early for me. I’ll have to try this again next year. 6 years ago

I’m giving/sending out 130 cards this year. I’ve done 70 of them so far and have 60 to go. (That is if I can find a few addresses.) I think I’ll get around a dozen finished tonight. :) 6 years ago

I finished off the 43 Thingers from the holiday card goal, and a few more friends. I’ve got 2 more definite 43 Thingers to send to, and 3 tentative 43 Thingers if I get their addresses. I also have 6 friends left to send out. Then I’m done, unless someone sends me a card that I didn’t send to. When that happens, I get a card out to them the same day if possible. 6 years ago

Another batch of 43 Thingers went out today, leaving one more batch for Monday from the team goal. I’ve got a few other 43ers that I want to send to but I need to get their addresses first.

I mailed out another group of cards today almost finishing up the friends list, and getting about half of the 43 Things list done. I should be able to wrap up the 43 Things ones tomorrow, but my remaining friends are the ones that take more time and effort so I’m not sure I’ll be done with this tomorrow or not. I also got two cards today from people who I’d cut from my card list, so I added them back on and sent their cards out today. 6 years ago

I mailed out another batch of cards today to some 43Thingers. If I have the time tomorrow, I’ll try and get the rest of them done. If I succeed, this will be the earliest I’ve ever completed mailing out my holiday cards. Heck, even if I complete it in the next week it’ll still be a week earlier than the earliest I normally finish. 6 years ago

when I couldn’t sleep I got 22 of them done. This accomplishes approximately 1/5 of what I need to do. :) These won’t require stamps because I’m giving them to my adopted mom to give out at one of my old church’s Christmas party in a few weeks. (They always tell people to bring their cards there to be distributed so people won’t have to pay postage on them.) I’m very sad that I won’t be able to attend this year’s party because of a family engagement, but at least people will get to know I’m thinking of them even though I’m not there. :) 6 years ago

I sent out the first box of cards to family and friends today including all my Canadian and overseas ones.

I also sent out the first batch of cards to 43 Thingers.

I’m sending to this year today. I may need to add a few more names. But this is looking more promising this will actually happen this year! :) (I’ve been too busy the past 2-3 years to do it, but have done it every year since I was 12 years old.) 6 years ago
