So I came up with an idea for a charty and have been buying the necassary things. But when it comes to making this real I feel beyond overwhelmed and don’t know where to start.
I wnt to start St.Christophers children. It will be for foster children. Most foster children in america bounce from one place to another and many times have nothing to call their own and what they do seem to be able to accumulate they have no way of keeping it together from one move to the next.
I want to get backpacks and fill them with a fleece flanket, a wash clothe, brush / comb, tooth brush toothpaste, differentpersonal hygene products depending on the sex(which will be determind by ribbon on zipper) pens and pencils, notebooks for school, and either a journal or stuffed animal something for comfort depending on age of child. I would like ot distribute these to local police stations, social service departments and schools. when the children are taken out of their home one of these people can hand them out as needed.
