Although the idea is adventurous and romantic, I’m not looking forward to 50 or so hours of being scared out of my mind. Well, maybe only scared half the time because I’ll also be driving. My husband scares me when he drives. My air brakes in the front passenger seat don’t work as hard as I’m trying to step on them! And all my exclamations of AGHs and OMIGODS and RED LIGHT RED LIGHT and ONE WAY etc. don’t slow him down. I suppose he’s a “good” driver, but he still scares the @#$% outta me. I’ll just have to get over it. In the close to 12 years I’ve been with him, he hasn’t changed his driving. Oh well. =)

It’s just started. Flying would be my first choice, but it’s too expensive now with 3 kids. I look forward to seeing the country. What a great experience. We’ll be driving from the DC area to Seattle next August? I think it’ll be fun. I hope. Yikes. So, pack up the minivan (please please don’t break down), and let’s go! WOO HOO!!!
