my car accident. I tell my loved ones that I love them or how much they mean to me when the moment strikes me.
Sometimes you can just show love with kind actions and your behaviour, and sometimes it needs saying. I find it very easy to say to my boyfriend but very difficult to my family. I think it’s because we’ve never really said it all that much.
The reason I did this may sound corny, but it was after watching a movie, Click. Yes the Adam Sandler movie. I watched it by myself, and must have cried for the last half of the movie, then I had a strong desire to tell everyone I love that I love them. I got some strange reactions to this, but very positive ones. It felt so good telling my best friends and family that I love them.
i have been telling people i care about that i love them and i do care. I have done this in a number of unusual and fun ways.
emails…just a thinking of you note
cards…just because cards to make them laugh
just telling them…i love you you know that?!
text message…hugs n kisses thinking of you
people from a far…miss you!!!
take a min to just say i care or i love you.
send someone flowers, candy grams with a note attached, post it notes on their computer screen…..think outside of the box and have fun!
I recently found out a loved one is dying. I’m working on writing them a letter telling them what they mean to me. It’s so difficult! It is so hard to put into a few words on a piece of paper what someone means to you and how much you love them.
Any advice?
Every person in your life affects and creates who you become… the people i have encountered are the most wonderful family and friends i could ask for, I want them to know i appeciate all the hugs, phone calls, long talks, road trips, lazy days, late nights and dinners we spent together. How do make them feel like they have actually made me a better person??
