I am 15 and I want to get down to 120 pounds by the holiday season. Right now I am at 150. I am overweight by 5 pounds, and I’d like to change that! My main goal though is to fit into this vintage swimsuit of mine that I found at a thrift store. It’s a good motivation for me. I try it on every week to see how good I’m doing.

I know I can do it though! I’ve already lost 15 pounds since April. Mostly I have a bit of a gut on me, so I am going to start doing crunches every night.

School starts up soon, so I will be walking there and back to home. Total that adds up to an hour, and burns about 200-250 calories. I will be eating around 1200 calories a day so I should loose about 2 pounds a week.

Of course, I’ll be gaining back some of that weight come thanksgiving, and my birthday, etc. Any tips for how to deal with those kind of situations?

Also any good filling foods with lots of protein that are low-cal?? Mostly I have been eating soup and salad, and fruits. I’m not sure how good a diet that is? Any help would be great!!
