That’s it. Added increases to handle my extra curves, decreased height of armholes, front and skirt/peplum/whatever it is. I even found some very cute beads to use as buttons, and sewed them on. I’ll wear it Friday or Sunday (both days I’ll be meeting people who’ve seen me working on it.)

Number of stitches picked up along waist band matches pattern requirements – now we’ll see if it’s as easy to adjust the front gussets as should be… 6 years ago

Now to pick up and knit for the tunic itself.
We'll see how well my dimensions match with the pattern's guesstimate as far as number of stitches leaving one inch free on each end. I may have to play with the pattern, or not... 6 years ago

The pattern is from Spring InterweaveKnits, and the yarn is Online Goby.
The pattern should be easy to adjust, since it starts off with knitting a band long enough to fit around your body with a 1” overlap… I’ll have to see how it works. Got the band a little more than half way done. 6 years ago
