One of the most beautiful places on Earth. I went on a river tour through a cave. So amazing…
Belize was so freaking AMAZING. I went with my bff and her family on vacation. It was so beautiful and awesome and just yay.
Belize is beautiful. I would suggest spending most of your time in the rainforest and then chill on the cayes for a few days. I stayed at Chaa Creek, which was a dream come true. You will NOT regret staying there. Go caving at ATM, horseback riding, bird watching, nike hiking, the list goes on and on. On the islands, snorkel. I stayed at the Lazy Iguana on Caye Caulker, but San Pedro is really cool and touristy.
one of the best trips of my life!
it was beautiful, and the sights were breathtaking.
i hope to go back again one day.
just spend a week in san pedro, belize and it was amazing! we trekked to a mayan ruin, snorkeled with nurse sharks and rays, ate conch, bummed around the beach and rode around in golf carts. it was quite an adventure!
we went to the keyes, went to placencia… crossed the border and went to Guatemala to see the ruins… amazing!
Gina, a college friend, used to say that Belize was “absolutely fabulous.” She’s right, it turns out. Took a ten day break and spent time on Ambergris Caye, relaxing and enjoying the sand, sun, and snorkeling. Highly recommended!
Why do they color the tonic water pink?
Looking forward to this trip. Beach, pool, snorkeling, R&R, Mayan ruins, lots of good food. Even got some tips from another helpful 43-thinger! Now if I can just get past the island-hopper plane ride…
Went there with about 14 teenagers from our church. We stayed at a church in Corozal and helped haul concrete block and buckets of concrete, bent rebar, and ran a bible school program at the local church for the children. By night we swam in the bay and slept on the floor of a former bar and dance hall.
