My shoes took me down a crooked path
Away from all welcome mats
My worried shoes
And then one day I looked around and I found the sun shining down
And I took off my worried shoes
And the feet broke free
I didn’t need to wear
Then I knew the difference between worrying and caring

I’m so blessed to have spent that time
With the family and the friends I love
With my short life I have met so many people I deeply care for

When you’re there, I sleep lengthwise

They couldn’t think of something to say the day you burst
With all their lions and all their might and all their thirst
They crowd your bedroom like some thoughts wearing thin
Against the walls, against your rules, against your skin
My beard grew down to the floor and out through the doors
Of your eyes, begonia skies like a sleepyhead, sleepyhead

I can say I hope it will be worth what I give up
If I could stand up mean for the things that I believe
What am I here for
I left my home to disappear is all
I’m here for myself
Not to know you

Fit in so good the hope is that you cannot see me later

I am an introvert an excavator
I’m duckin’ out for now
a face in dodgy elevators

Through storm and grief,
Hit many a rock and many a reef,
What keep them going was a great belief.
That the human race was a special freight

This origami dream is beautiful, but man, those wings will never leave the ground without a feather and a lottery ticket.
Now settle down.

All I ever wanted was to pick apart the day,
put the pieces back together my way.
