get straight As in my a levels

My A level results came out a couple of weeks ago – two As and a C. Could have been worse but not what I was exactly hoping for and the C was a bit of a kick in the teeth because even though I was only short of a B by nine marks, I just missed my uni offer.

But not for me the sad face; I’m going to spend this year getting some work experience in my chosen field, do a little travelling and resit a couple of modules to push my grade up.

It’s not quite what it says on the tin but I’ll consider this goal done when/if I’ve finally got my B.

Just got my AS level results back – being two As in Chem and Bio, a B in Physics and a C in French.

The C was a bit of a kick in the teeth but otherwise, I’m really pleased, especially with Physics which I thought I was going to get a D or E in.

Anyway, what this means is that instead of dropping Physics I’m dropping French instead.

A new game starts in a week, so lets see if I can raise that B and keep those As until the end of next year.

Well, I got A, C, A in the exams I took in January, which is a good sign.

Well, got to retake physics, anyway, but all the same. So that does need work.

Also need to do better work on coursework, which is letting me down at the moment. Though maybe if i keep the marks reasonably high, good exam results will make up for mediocre coursework?

Hope so because otherwise i don’t stand a chance.

Well, this might be possible. Biology should be easy, and I’m not doing too badly in Chemistry and French. I need it for med school.

I’m not sure AS Levels count, so I’m going to include Physics as I’d like to but not as part of the real goal. I’d like a B, I think.

Got a hard couple of years ahead.

I can do this. Seeing as I’d gotten straights As last year, if I carry on working as hard I’ll pull it off for sure :)
