It’s easy guys. No one is going to turn one down, and it will make you feel good…hell, sometimes you’ll get one in return.
Very easy goal to set; and to accomplish.

It’s easy and changes someones outlook on their day for just a little while.
It’s free right? So what’s the harm in being positive. Funny thing is that it is so easy with strangers and so easily forgotten with family and friends. Need to remember that.

and people appreciate being noticed when you are sincere.
In my head I do this all the time, i should just be more vocal about it. I’m a pretty effusive person sometimes, so I sound a little too impressed by something so I hope I don’t sound ridiculous when I do compliment people. I guess I compliment people in a roundabout way quite often, just echo something that they were pleased about doing.
I have been doing pretty good about complimenting people, but this should be something that I am conscious of every day.
I did compliment a friend. He was the first person in his family to graduate from University. I am always impressed when people do this, since I value education and I realize how hard it can be to break out of the established roles. He didn’t seem to think this was a huge accomplishment. I may probe that later on, if the topic comes up again.
There is a group of people I am working with at work who I quite enjoy working with. I need to let them know that I like working with them. I should do something nice for them, like bring in some treats or something.

Can’t say I am doing this every day yet. But do enjoy doing so & need to focus!
It was nice because they are good people to work with and they enjoyed the compliment. Good for me! (That’s 3!)
I complimented someone at work who I have only been working with for a month or so. She is level headed, straightforward, funny and gets things done. A great combination. I complimented her to her boss as well as telling her how much I enjoy working with her.
This is definitely becoming more of a habit – and a good one at that.
