LilsassycatThe Best Thing You Could Do

What helped me with this goal was the purpose I found in the bible. I found it’s not just a book your supposed to read. It is the translater of what God is wanting to say to you today. When you are truly seeking Him, you WILL find Him. He WILL show up!
I do think it helps to have a spiritually more mature person to help understand the bible and some of it’s concepts.

I am filled with joy to have God open my eyes like He has. It’s about reminding yourself of whom He is, and just how much God loves us all. It’s about reminding yourself of whom WE are in God.
Find time for Him more often and let him inspire you today. :) 2 years ago

Dsstephens83Closer walk with thee...

One of my main goals for 2010 was to get closer to God. The best way to do that is to read his word.

Its been hard to find time with school, friends, fiance’s but God is much more important and allows everything and life to be possible. 2 years ago

Whirlwindwinover and over

It’s been a while now that I read it more often. I read it out loud to my husband and kids in the car when we travel. We discuss what we read mainly morning weekends in our muskoka chairs with a coffee. Quite inspiring. 4 years ago

hardcoredrummer13Hard

I used to be just like Aussiebassplayer until I got sick and tired of trying to find a “solution” to “not being able to read”. First you have to convince yourself that can do it, and pray about it. As it says in 1 Peter 5:7, “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” Also, in John 14:14, “You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.” I believe that this is saying that if our prayers are in sync with what God’s will is, He will do it but you have to put your effort into it as well. Pray about it a lot and practice it a lot and it will come. Don’t get discouraged, in the end, it’s all worth it! 5 years ago

Does anyone have a good guide to achieve this goal? 6 years ago

BlammThis is really hard!

I relly enjoy studying the Bible with friends (which I do often) but really struggle to read it myself regularly. Somehow it requires more effort and I am basically lazy and not the kind of guy who reads the manual first. I need to get a grip really. 7 years ago
