be a good uncle

gosh babysitting 3 babies at the same time is not half tiring, great respect for my sister, thank god i havent got the huge responsibility but i am enjoying learning how to cope with babies galore lol.

lol wow ,i think i need to work hard to become the best uncle ever if these 7 babies are depending on me!; damn my sisters for wanting big families lol!

No kids myself, and being the best uncle has been a wonderful part of my life.

This week I’ve became an uncle a second time, as the litte Sandor (Alexander) has born last week! He had to stay at the hospital with his mother as some problems arised with his respiration, but I hope that I can meet with him soon. As a side effect I could spend some time with his brother as he was here today.

I just wanted to let you know, that my “nephew” turned two. Happy birthday little one!

I have a huge, segmented family… and I’ve always managed to be part of it all, The thing that brings me the most joy though is my Nieces and Nephews. With a lot of negative influences around them I am constantly struggling to make sure I’m there for them and that they know it, and that they feel they can turn to me. It is a lifelong commitment, and I think I’m doing OK so far, I’d like to think I am already a good uncle, the reason I write is because i ALWAYS want to “be a good uncle”
P.S. My nephew Julian is going to be a little drummer boy, at the young age of 4 (My brother was very thankfull)

I think, I was a good uncle today. I’ve been with him for about an hour, but what an hour. He is really unstoppable. By the way, my granny’s got some new kittens, they are so adorable! So we played with them a little, but of course my niece is only 18 months old, so I have to be careful. He is really cute.

But I do have someone, whom I can think of as a cousin. He is 15 months old, and I really want to be “the good uncle” for him. Well, I like kids – sort of – but I have no intention of having one on my own. So that is why I want to be an uncle, and not a dad.

Adjectives I’d like to be have associated with me – come on kids! This will be fun. TAG me already! There are the words. Now go look them up because you probably only think you know what they mean. Just like I only think I know what it means to be a good uncle. It’s probably easier after they start talking, right?
