£10 for six months worth of unlimited free UK calls – what a fantastic offer! I’m now able to call home from uni at any time without worries.

Speaking to American friends, calling their mobile phone for ten minutes and paying appx. 1 Swedish crown (~14 US cents) is nothing, and the sound-quality is excellent.

Great idea, and value-wise beats the heck out of traditional telco’s prices. But it needs developing still. It’s where cell phones were 15 years ago.

there’s nothing like introducing someone to Skype and even if they are 10,000 miles away – you’re clear through instant messages, the voice on the other line that the person sees a whole new world and the possibilities available to them – it’s awesome – do it!

It works, it’s cheap, it’s great. Now Google and Yahoo are on the bandwagon, but Skype is the elegant and simple original. Try it.

I agree with Jakob. It’s very easy and works great.

I’ve been trying out SkypeOut for th epast couple of days and I must say that the result is surprisingly good. SkypeOut worked very well between the Netherlands and Denmark and Luxembourg, and although I understand that Oman is blocking Skype altogether I think that this is a must-do for everyone with contacts in foreign countries.
